I have just found half stitch, and I am in love.

What's something small that makes your day better?
Cuddles with my husband and my poodle.

What brings you to YAM and this role?
It all started with singing. I made my operatic debut singing Alisa opposite Jessica Pratt when I was 22, but for the last 10 years, I have always had a side hustle, another way of supporting myself so that I could pursue this performing career.

In 2020, I started building websites for musicians, which slowly morphed into social media management, which is now the core offerings for YAM. I feel so strongly about bringing classical music into the mainstream, we're so far behind in the online space compared to other industries. It's become my mission to learn everything I can and help bring our whole industry forward, because opera and classical music have such a unique opportunity to explode right now, we just need to show up for it.

Coffee but decaf because I'm old now. Tea at night with a pinch of salt, try it!

What hobby are you obsessed with right now?
Writing a musical and growing disappointing courgettes.

What's something small that makes your day better?
Walking or even looking at my dog!

What brings you to YAM and this role?
I'm also an opera singer, so I've always been immersed in classical music and interested in how the new marketing and social media landscape can help to promote and grow the industry. At YAM I've gotten to combine that background with hands-on experience in audience engagement and relationship management, in a way that fits my unpredictable schedule!
