British soprano Stephanie Hershaw is a rising operatic voice to watch, currently a soloist ensemble member at the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater. In the 2025/26 season, she returns to the beloved title role in The Cunning Little Vixen and steps into a series of exciting new roles, including Sophie (Werther), Antonia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), and Marie (Gurlitt’s Wozzeck).

Beyond Oldenburg, Stephanie makes her house debut at Staatstheater Kassel as Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, covers 2nd Niece in Peter Grimes with Opera North, and celebrates her concert debut at Cadogan Hall with The Mozartists.

Last season saw her praised performances as Ännchen, Romilda, Gretel, and the Governess, alongside her acclaimed first Vixen. On and off stage, Stephanie shares life as a modern opera singer - bringing classical music closer to new audiences
